Our studio, based in Wakefield City Centre, opened on 2nd October 2006; just a short walk away from Woolworth’s and the added bonus of several close public car parks.

Studio Co-ordinator, Maggie Harrison, is a new addition to Marlin Images. Having worked in several Photographic Studios in Hull, Maggie will be an asset to our new venture. Maggie will be our main Pre-Cherub & Cherub photographer, and will take on wedding photography later this year.

On the first floor, Marlin Images’ studio can occupy a group of up to 30 people (and energetic children! etc), with a choice of different backgrounds and floor coverings. A changing room situated on the same floor for makeovers and fashion shoots etc.
The ground floor consists of 2 preview rooms both have a relaxed atmosphere in which to view you’re Photo’s, and a reception/gallery area.

WEDDINGS

Mark has been one of the leading Wedding & Portrait Photographers over the last 15 years. His speciality is a mixture of traditional, contemporary and modern reportage-style weddings & portraiture. The method mark uses is both informal and relaxed, as this creates the atmosphere that allows him to capture truly exceptional images. He is also the current Avante Garde Wedding Photographer of Yorkshire.

PORTRAITS

Portraits are personal and viewed everyday. Why not enjoy the making of it, whether it’s a studio or location shoot, you need to remember it for the right reasons. Clients have the choice of Mounted prints up to 10x8”, Larger or Multiple Prints are supplied in Handmade Frames with a Bespoke Mount, made to measure, with sizes up to 30x40”

Multiple images can also be supplied in Acrylic Frames. From 1 – 16 images on the same frame. Various qualities & colours are also available.

Canvas & Block prints are also available up to 30x40”.

PRE-CHERUBS

Gives you the opportunity to get close to your Bump and/or new bundle of joy. Mum & Dad are invited to have individual & family photos with they’re Bump/new baby, skin against skin. Our photographer is female for this session for the comfort of the mother. This offer is £20 & includes a framed print. You then view the image collection soon after and select your chosen image for the framed print. All images are available for purchase, with no obligation.

CHERUBS CORNER

Is a unique opportunity to capture your new baby’s first year in beautiful portraits created by Marlin Images Photography Ltd, and presented in a top of the range folio.

We invite you and your baby to three studio sessions at four monthly intervals. You then view each collection soon after each sitting and select your choice for the Complimentary Art Leather Triple Folio and you may purchase any other images (with no Obligation). After the third sitting, we will present you with the folio containing your selection of three photographs, which is yours to keep free of charge!

KIDS CLUB

Do you have an active and entertaining Toddler? !

‘Kids Club’ works similarly to ‘Cherubs’. Your Toddler is invited to have a series of photographs taken from ages 2 years to 6 years (1 photo session per year), recording their growing individual personality.

You will be invited to view the images at preview sittings, were you can purchase any images (with no Obligation) and choose your favourite to be presented in a portfolio, after the last sitting & preview.

There will be a Joining Fee of £35.
